[#1] 換哂純銀訊號線同喇叭線, 一天光哂! 最近套 lofi 換左用條 cheap cheap 5n 純銀訊號線由 cdp 去 pre-amp, 2對 5n 純銀喇叭線行 bi-wire, 加埋現有由 pre-amp 去 power-amp 既 Siltech SQ28, 全套純銀線接駁(除左電源線), 真係有一天光哂既感覺, 高低都去得盡左, 無薄聲, 好多details, 可能因為用左 8 股 solid silver core 關係, dynamic 同 bass 都好正, 平衡度極佳, 證明純銀線只要純度夠高, 股數夠多, 係唔應該特別薄聲同無 Bass. sorry, they are not branded products but custom home-made ones (kind of diy ones). But they really sound very good to me! The Eichmann Silver Bullet RCA plugs used are especially brilliant in contributing the great sound.

I love pure Silver cables!!! ^3^

I originally used Stage III Concepts silver cable for CDP-＞Pre and 2 pairs of QED GSS for bi-wire. After changing to the new silver cables and running-in, the bass becomes much solid and tight, and is even deeper indeed. I found no loss of bass and the punch is even a bit stronger than my former QED GSS! this is also a surprise to me.

I believe it is contributed by the total 16 0.6mm pure solid silver cores feeding into each speaker (bi-wire), which serves more energy and faster response to the speakers. And I think the result will not be the same if using less number of cores and thinner core.

wow... so many brothers interested!

FYI. My interconnect is custom made with 8 0.4mm pure solid silver cores and terminated with Eichmann Silver Bullet RCA plugs. And my speaker cables are constructed with 8 0.6mm pure solid silver cores with silver banana/spade plugs each run. For bi-wiring, there are two runs feeding hi and low of each of my Sonus Faber speakers and therefore a total of 16 cores for each speaker then.

For optimal performance, what I can recommend is using at least 8 cores constructions for each cable.

they may not be the best cables around, but what I can say is that they fits my lofi and exceed my satisfaction level with such price!
