I am also looking for 1.12 or 2.08 as well. The Italian office said they don't have a dealer in hongkong but can sell directly to me. Really want to audition first before proceed..

Dear b-for-beatles,

I am just using some obsolete gears (except the cheap cheap phono is still in production, all others are outdated models, including HT112).

Well, in fact, I think Zingali itself has some "愉快的音染" so that it doesn't need some very particular gears to drive. Some neutral sounding gears should be a good match.

I am using solid state amp. Just itchy to try paring some SET tube amp with the ominary horn. I know the bass will be at the expense. But it shouldn't matter much as most of my listening hours are in deep night when I just need some relaxing sound for my relaxation.

I was told the sounds of zingali is quite different from traditional horn. My concern is the sensitivity of the speaker. My 300B needs 98dB but 2.06 and 2.08 cannot meet the requirement. 1.12 is a good choice but is limited by my listening area....
Hard to make a move.

因為工作的緣故,音響少聽,我的Prelude 4先讓給朋友
轉了一大圈,現在又買回Prelude 1
如果還買的到Prulude 4或Overture,我還會考慮
Prelude & Overture is a classic in Zingali ever!

First of all, I have no listening experience on Zingali new series such us 20 anniversay or Italian. But I think I am familiar with Prelude and Overture because I had owned Prelude over 4 years. The main difference about Prelude and Overture is the grade of its horn driver(but same mid-bass driver), Overture is a little bit higher but someone declare Prelude is more true like a monitor and Overture is more sweetness like a singer. Overture has also good look and texture on its box (real yellow poplar wood) opposite to Prelude(MDF and professional look); it would rather taste than level. Some Overture user also said the black, gum-like finish of the box is hard to maintain, it will became sticky several years later.
The higher level of Zingali (*.12 or *.15) can be driven by triode amp certainly but make sure your amp could fully control the 12/15 inch bass driver!
I think Prelude and Overture is a easy way to know the Zingali's esthetics, both of them use real horn driver, very easy to setup and listen even in a small room.
