The CDP500 is the best Blacknote CD player ever made enables a proprietary top class design showing six double triode tubes on the output stage. The CD Player features an aluminium mechanic transport with a front loader to minimize vibration feedback.

The CDP500 is 100% designed and assembled in Italy by Blacknote that carefully and specifically manufactures any single part of the unit to offer the best possible quality.
The proprietary Digital to Analog stage is designed around a DAC offers a real 24bit resolution with the over-sampling 368 higher than the standard CD players (44,1KHz).

The Clock generator is designed around the Burr-Brown PLL1705 microchip. The PLL1705 is able to generates a very low jitter phase error, one of the lowest today available: 50-12 (50.000 billions of second).

The power supply is made with five different stages managed thru five custom transformers. Any transformer supplies the power directly to a specific stage of the circuit to get the most consistent energy allows best sound performance. Also it is stabilized with sophisticated Current Generators decoupled via silicon transformers exclusively made for the CDP500. The Power Supply is managed through four OP amps singularly powered with a special multi inductive power supply.

The CDP500 features a custom design tube analog output stage made with six tubes. Such new output stage is a tube powered and truly balanced no-matching any transistor on the audio signal path in order to get the most natural sound possible.

Even the CDP500 features the Blacknote Natural-Speed™ design tunes the transport motor speed.

All the functions of the CDP500 are controlled with the top class Texas-Instruments micro controller MSP430 programmed with a special software enables easy future up-grade of the unit to keep it always fresh and modern.

The CDP500 high mass chassis together with the optimised custom suspended feet allow to perfectly control the acoustic feedback.
