The detail spec can be found in http://www.casio.com/exilim/
Brought from the same web site, I had been waiting impartiently for the last few weeks before it arrived few days ago. Later on I've found out the amazon.com offer free delivery. ' Shit ! '.
Anyhow, the first impression is ' Hah! That small !? '. True! I think it's just about 10 credit cards putting together. Then come to the question - ' How about the performance? '.
Having playing around for few days, I can say - it works !
Picture quality - acceptable, good enough for e-mailing. Print out - since my printer died, I haven't brought any, so no comment here. LCD - not that bright in compare with my last one (Fuji 2600z), still OK. Function/menu control - very easy to use, even I didn't read the manual, I can still play for a while, but it's better the read manual first so that you can understand the meaning of some icons. This menu is well designed and ease in compare with the Fuji. Movie - 30 second movie with sound, I like it... Since it's very light, so you need to have a steady hand to record. MP3 - Cool ! Once you connect with the PC, it reads your 'EX' as an removeable disk. So it's just copy and pasty your MP3 files into the camera, very convenient. Battery- Still don't know the battery life yet, but a little bit inconvenient that you need to charge thru the cradle together with the camera. A spare one is nearly a must. Luckly it's only $30! Software- I can only say it's the weakest! Also luckly for me, once it connects to the PC, my old Fuji software picks that up. It works perfect under the Fuji software, no big problem to me. Memory- An external memory card is also a must ! How can you survive with only 12 MB internal memory, which is only for 10 pictures and 2 songs. ---Sighs--- another $60 !
Thanks for the ebay.com that I can sell my Fuji 2600z easily (see my comment on its). Although the picture quality, the inconvenient of the battery and the price cannot match with the Fuji, those are not that far behind. Just the size wins it all, no regret !
