用家意見	Recently I read a comparison between Sony SCD-777ES and Primare 30.2 from a R33 fan's review of his 777ES. He said that 777ES outperforms 30.2 almost in every aspects. I consider that there may be something misleading. In fact, these 2 players are superb players below $20,000 but they are having different style in sound presentation. It is hard to judge which one is better. The vote depends on the taste of listeners. The sound characteristic of 30.2 can be summarised as warm, naturalness and musical. 30.2 is designed to provide music for enjoyment instead of hi-fi sound with details in extreme level. Its mid-range is beautiful and natural without artifically modified. For better sound quality, it is recommended to use balanced output. 30.2 is not perfect since its transport, provided by Sony, is noisy and slow. I hoope that Primare will replace this low-grade Sony transport later. I give it 4 stars in terms of value and satisfaction due to the drawback of its transport but I would like to give it 5 stars in terms of sound quality.
