| [#1] Epos 同好會 Hi thought I would start ones of these forums... Just purchased a pair of Epos M12.2 speakers. Pairing it with Creek Evo amp and Cayin Cd-22 player. Still running it in, but so far sound is very transparent, mid range is great and has good timing... only thing is that bass is a bit light so far, but getting better as running in. Also, the highs started off a bit bright and sharp, but now mellow out a little bit and quite smooth now. The finish of M12.2 is very nice, especially the real wood veneer. Looks really classy. I'm using Mullard ecc82 tubes for the cd player, which is warm and good vocals. I had originally upgraded the opamps from 1604 to OPA625 which are more detailed. But since the m12.2 was quite bright i swapped the 1604 back in, and better now. Maybe when it runs in properly ill try the OPA625 again. So far, happy with my new purchase... Please share your experiences with Epos speakers! |
